MN 13 featured on Monday Night Live Season 34 Compilation

I'm honored to be included on the Monday Night Live Season 34 compilation album- available here- alongside  other local musicians following my performance on the program earlier this year. It was a pleasure to come back to my hometown and sing some of the songs that it inspired in me, and the songs I've written in my time away.

My track is a finger style guitar version of "Minnesota 13", with a pretty different feel than the banjo version on "Rust Belt Ballads". It's about the moonshine industry in Stearns County during Prohibition and the federal crackdown against us for it, which was also the subject of a recent PBS documentary.
